We are happy to announce that 20/20 Eye Care has re-opened for routine eye care. Our hours and operations have changed, with the safety of our patients and team in mind. However, we are still here to provide you with exceptional care and assist you with all your vision, eye health and eyewear needs. Our current office hours at this time are Monday-Friday, 9am to 5pm.
If you are running low on contact lenses, they can still be delivered right to your door! To order your contact lenses, reach us by email at firstname.lastname@example.org , or by phone at 204-953-2020. We are also able to offer direct to your door options for dry eye care products such as drops, gel, lid wipes and masks. Contact us for more details.
We appreciate it if you would contact our office to schedule an appointment in advance for all eye examinations, eyewear selections, eyewear adjustments and repairs, as well as pickups of any kind. We appreciate your patience and understanding as this is necessary to follow physical distancing guidelines within the office. This will also allow us to be prepared to offer you assistance on your arrival and take care of your needs expediently.
We also ask that before making an appointment at our office, you verify that you pass the following COVID health screening questions: That you haven’t travelled outside the province in the last 14 days; That you, or anyone you’ve been in contact with has not currently tested positive for COVID-19; That you are not currently experiencing any cold or flu-like symptoms. We also ask that any visitors to our office wear a mask. They can be purchased for $3 if you do not have one upon your arrival.
If you do not meet the health screening criteria for a visit to our office, we may be able to provide you with care via teleoptometry, and arrange for you to be seen by an eye care practitioner with the appropriate safeguards in place to examine you, should you be experiencing a vision or eye emergency.
If you are experiencing an ocular emergency outside of our office hours, proceed to Misericordia Hospital at 99 Cornish Ave in Winnipeg. Ocular emergencies include: Sudden loss of vision, Sudden onset of new floaters and/or flashing lights, Sudden veil or blackness obscuring part of your vision, and Sudden onset of eye pain.
Please contact Health Links at 204-788-8200 if you have any COVID-19 related concerns.
We will be reaching out to reschedule all cancelled appointments as soon as we are able. Thank you for your continued support of our business and we look forward to seeing you again soon. We will continue to post any updates to our hours and operations under our "News" items on our website as well as through our social media channels.
We greatly appreciate your understanding as we work together to move past these extraordinary times.
